Etz Chaim Jewish Primary School

"I love Etz Chaim because I do lots of painting." Eden, Foundation Stage

Hello and welcome to Nursery!

We would like to welcome you to Etz Chaim Nursery. My name is Miss Genn and I will be the class teacher. Working closely with me will be Mrs Talisman the Jewish Studies teacher, Mrs Greene the Ivrit teacher, Mrs Bloom and Mrs Levy who are the Nursery practitioners. Mrs Bean is also part of the Nursery team.  Together we are a fantastic team and we look forward to welcoming your child.

It is going to be another exciting year at Etz Chaim Nursery. The children will be learning through play in a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth. Each half term the children will be learning about a different IPC topic that will be wholly integrated with their Jewish Studies learning. There will be a range of activities each day to develop the children’s skills so that they are ready to succeed throughout their school life. Every day the children will be learning through both indoor and outdoor play. They will have the opportunity to visit and play in our new fantastic playground which will develop them physically and emotionally.

The children will be having one taught P.E lesson each week learning new gymnastic, ball, games and dance skills. They will also have the opportunity to go to the library where they can select a library book of their choice to take home and read.

I look forward to another fast pace and exciting year with the children coming into our Nursery.
