Etz Chaim Jewish Primary School

"I love Etz Chaim because I do lots of painting." Eden, Foundation Stage

Hello and welcome to Nursery!

Nursery

My name is Miss Ros and I am from Barcelona. I have experience in teaching Early Years and have taught in London, Spain and Sweden. This will be my second year at Etz Chaim. I am very excited to be the Nursery Teacher and am looking forward to working with you and your child!

Throughout the year the children will be given the opportunity to learn through play in a safe and stimulating learning environment. Each half term the children will be learning about a different IPC topic that will be integrated with their Jewish Studies learning. All children learn in different ways and that is why we will be working around their interests to cover the different areas of learning. The children will have access to the inside and outside classroom in a free flow basis. All activities will be fun, interactive and engaging to match the needs and abilities of the children so as each child can reach his or her full potential.

I will be working closely with Miss Goldstein and Mrs Levy as the Foundation Stage Practitioners. The Jewish Studies Teacher will be Mrs Olsberg and the Ivrit Teacher will be Mrs Greene. The children will visit the Library twice a week where they will be given the opportunity to borrow a book to take home and will participate in taught PE lessons once a week.

I am looking forward to the exciting year ahead!
