Mizvah Day 2015
On Friday 20th November 2015 we celebrated Mitzvah Day.
Mitzvah Day is an annual day of social action where thousands upon thousands of people donate their time, not their money in order to help others. At Etz Chaim we made Chanukah cards and posters which will be given to Sydmar Lodge Care Home and Clore Manor Care Home to brighten up Chanukah for the residents. We also brought in hundreds of old cd's and dvd's which we didn't need any more. These will be collected by the charity "Tzedek." Tzedek will sell them and the money raised will go towards supporting one of Tzedek's projects in Africa.
