Year 3's Trip to LSJS
The children visited an interactive Chumash workshop at London School of Jewish Studies. The children dressed in ancient costumes and experienced going into the desert. They met characters from the Torah, ‘Avraham’ and ‘Sarah’ and had the opportunity to sit and speak to them in their tent. The children made matzah by making the dough from flour and water, kneading it and then shaping it. They made butter from cream and were trained how to be good hosts and hostesses. The morning was thoroughly enjoyed by all children and staff.
