Purim 2017

We enjoyed a fun filled and exciting Purim at Etz Chaim this year! The children started the day by making Mishloach manot boxes and playing special Purim games. Nursery, Reception and Year 1 then enjoyed a special performance from Adam Ant which the children loved and much laughter could be heard from the hall throughout! Rabbi Bazak then joined us for two fantastic Megillah readings- one for Nursery, Reception and Year 1 and another for Years 2-5. Rabbi Bazak single handedly read the megillah and acted out the parts of all the characters! His performance was very educational and was truly a highlight of the day. Following the megillah readings, we had a special fancy dress parade in the hall for children and parents. We had some wonderful costumes this year ranging from Harry Potters to Trolls and even had some Donald Trumps as well! Parents and children then enjoyed a delicious Purim picnic in the beautiful sunshine.! We are really grateful to all our families for supporting our Purim Tzedakah appeal and helping us raise a large sum of money for the charity Chana. We are now looking forward to our upcoming Pesach celebrations!
