DaCapo Concert
On Monday 2nd July the children all performed in a special DaCapo concert and shared some of the songs which they have learnt during their DaCapo music sessions this year.
We were entertained with the following songs:
Nursery and Reception- Mister Cat by Peter Furness and Fred Plowright, featuring the sad-voiced guinea pig and happy-voiced cat;
Year 5 and 6- Clash and Bang by Talvin Singh, with piano accompaniment and percussion ostinatos from some children; and
Year 1, 2, 3, and 4- Black Neon Sign by Luke Styles, in 4 part harmony and with piano accompaniment.
All the children performed brilliantly. Well done to all involved!
