Year 6 Takeover Day
On Wednesday 11 July, the children in Year 6 took over Etz Chaim for the day.
This gave the children the chance to shadow jobs, get involved in decision making and offer their opinions on key issues.
The children had the chance to apply for jobs around the school. They completed application forms including a personal statement explaining why they were applying for the job they had chosen. They thought about why they would like to take over this job; what skills and experience they would bring to the position and why they should be considered for the role.
The children loved taking on the different jobs for the day: Headteacher, Class teachers, JS teachers, Teaching Assistants, Office Staff, Premises Manager, Computing leader and Music Teacher. They all brought their personalities and talents to their jobs and were an asset to the school.
