The children were extremely lucky to participate in a Cricket workshop from Middlesex Cricket which they all thoroughly enjoyed.
In Reception the children were split into 2 teams, they practised their teamwork alongside throwing & catching. They had to listen carefully to follow the coaches instructions.
In KeyStage 1 and 2 the children were split into three teams and they were shown how to correctly hold a cricket bat and then were able to compete in a relay race by hitting a cricket ball into a coned area. The coach helped them with their aim and cricket hit and the children thoroughly enjoyed learning these new skills. The children were so supportive of their teams and played beautifully.
