Music Concert

The children enjoyed performing some of the songs they have learnt in their Music lessons this year in front of the whole school. They performed a variety of different genres and different instruments, including voice, piano and recorders. The Key Stage 1 choir started the concert by singing the school song 'Let us Grow' and two songs from 'Junior Voiceworks'. There were two soloists on piano. Three recorder groups performed songs from 'Red Hot Recorders'. Three year groups entertained us with songs from the shows, a pop song and two songs with harmony parts. Years 5 and 6 have been composing their own songs about friendship this term and one song was written and performed as a solo voice and piano by a child in Year 6. The Key Stage 2 choir closed the concert with a song from the Greatest Showman. They all thoroughly entertained their audience and it was a very enjoyable concert for everyone.
