Lord Levy and Matthew Offord came to visit to celebrate Parliament Week

During Parliament Week, the children in Key Stage Two were very lucky that Lord Levy came to visit them. He spoke to them about being a Lord and his role in the House of Lords. The children asked him lots of interesting questions about Parliament and how laws are made.

Year 3 and 4 were then lucky to have a question and answer session in relation to their topic 'Significant People'. They were able to ask Lord Levy questions about why he is a significant person and what he has done that has made a difference. It was very interesting to hear and the children asked very articulate questions.

Year 3 and 4 were very fortunate to have a visit from our local MP Matthew Offord. Matthew spoke to the children about what it means to be an MP and his role in the Houses of Parliament. We even got to hear his view on Brexit! The children were very eager and enthuastic about asking questions about his job and his day to day roles. It was a very engaging talk.
