Year 6 Bikeability
Year 6 have been learning the skills and confidence they need to ride on local roads; recognising typical hazards, letting others know what they’re about to do, e.g. through hand signals, knowing where to position themselves on the road and passing parked vehicles and side roads. The children have been preparing for on-road cycling in the playground and if ready, some have cycled on the road.
