Chinese New Year Workshop 2015
The children thoroughly enjoyed their Chinese New Year Workshop learning all about the Chinese customs and celebrations for their new year. They learnt about the three colours that are important to the Chinese people during the new year along with the two colours that are unlucky and should never be used for a celebration. The children learnt how to say hello, goodbye and thank you in Chinese. They loved practising these words to each other.
The children enjoyed listening to the story of the new year celebrations and were delighted to receive some new year decorations and a set of chopsticks to take home.
