The children completed a silent conversation on the picture of the witch. They looked at the photo of her before being introduced to her character in the story.

The children have enjoyed immersing themselves in our text this half term and have become the character Jubb. They have designed and written about what their own treehouse would look like.

The children have begun their work on Animals in Science by creating a mind map of their previous knowledge

The children enjoyed performing their weather report.

The children enjoyed scripting and filming their weather forecast report for Geography. They had to choose a place in between The Tropics of Cancer and The Tropics of Capricorn.

The children used the influence of artists who create fruit sculptures create their own clay pomegranates in honour of Rosh Hashannah. The considered the texture and shape of the fruit in how they moulded the clay and used paint.
19/09/25
The children have explored place value up to a thousand this week. They have done this with resources such as dienes and base ten.

The children were excited to start our topic of Around the world. They located their holiday destinations on a map.
