In the second half of the Summer term the children enjoyed learning about the different aeroplanes at the RAF Museum.

In the first half of the Summer term the children have been enjoying their new ICP topic ‘Houses and Homes’, where they have explored the different types of houses. They’ve loved listening to the Gruffalo story and talking about all the different houses within the story. The children even made their own house from the story.

The children enjoyed making flowers for Shavuot in the SEED workshop.

In the second half of the Spring term the children enjoyed learning their ICP topic ‘Let’s Pretend’, where they explored different characters for their favourite fairytales, role-played stories and became the characters in the fairy tales. They also baked different foods from the stories.

In the first half of the Spring term the children enjoyed looking at the different size of beans and made collage pictures.

In the second half of the Autumn term the children have been practising their numbers with Numicon. They loved counting the holes and matching it with the number. They have become real experts in identifying the numbers!

Nursery have been learning about different types of transport. The children were especially interested in cars and really enjoyed their visit to Mill Hill Motors. Some children went and took videos with iPads so they could discuss what was in the car garage and learn the different things they do. The children loved role playing a car garage afterwards in our outdoors area.

The children loved exploring Autumn with the Autumn resources  they had collected with their families. They really liked sorting them by colour and size!

The children found a moth with a broken wing, they were trying to help it get better by making a little house using oats and a box.

The children created their own puppet show for everyone to watch.

The children enjoyed the Science Week and some WOW experiments.

The children loved the hands on Purim craft workshop.

The children loved playing with colourful aqua water beads pretending they were magic beans. They used them to fill and empty different size containers in the water tray.

Nursery have enjoyed learning about food. They have carried out observational drawing of the fruits.

Nursery have been practising how to cross the road safely. The children learnt the song Stop, Look and Listen.

The children learnt about car number plates and created their own. They picked up their own numbers and decorated their car number plates to make them special. It was lovely to see how much learning they did with number recognition!

The children went on a leaf hunt and worked together to pick as many leaves as they could. They decided to make a picture with the different coloured and shaped leaves. They are looking great on our Autumn wall in the classroom!

The children have enjoyed making challah during our JS lessons.

The children enjoyed pretending to be in the Gruffalo’s cave and making bubbles in different ways.

The children loved pretending they are a car wash and washing the bikes in the playground.

They liked the Matzah Baking Workshop for Pesach, where the children got to use a special rolling pin to make holes in the Matzah.

They have used boxes and different materials to create our models for the Israel 70th project.

The children have been developing their fine motor skills with a range of activities. They especially enjoyed using playdough to make patterns. The children challenged themselves drawing their own patterns on dice and trying to make it with the dough.

Our role play area is a very popular place. The children have been cooking meals together as they get to know each other in a familiar environment.

The children really enjoy the outdoors area. They have loved mark making on the floor with chalk and the different building opportunities. They had lots of fun building a frame to practise their balance.

The children developed their creativity and imagination building and decorating our class Succah.
