Israeli Dance Festival

On 22nd March, our newly formed Etz Chaim Dance Troupe participated in the Israeli Dance Festival held at Lee Valley Athletic Centre.  The group of twenty two children has attended the lunchtime dance club, with Mrs Levy and Miss Feiner. They learnt over twenty dances for this year’s programme, Rokdim b’Yachad – Dancing Together.  It was great fun to see how Israeli dance can connect children of other Jewish schools as they danced the dances altogether.   The children performed so well and we look forward to them learning  new dances as well as visiting their favourites, such as Hine Ma Tove, Shubi Dubi and Dio Dio.
