Yom Yerushalayim
The children enjoyed a special assembly as part of our celebrations for Yom Yerushalayim. Yom Yerushalayim is the day when we celebrate the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City which took place after the Six Day War in 1967. We had a visitor from Bnei Akiva youth movement who shared stories about this special day. The children sung songs about Jerusalem accompanied by a guitar.
