Rosh Hashanah Shofar Blowing 2017
Rabbi Schochet came in and led a special Rosh Hashanah shofar blowing assembly. All the children from Reception to Year 6 listened as he blew the shofar. Rabbi Schochet spoke about how the different calls represent different types of crying. He then showed his special antelope's horn shofar and children were chosen to try to make a sound. We heard lots of interesting noises and finally some beautiful notes.
