Shoedays Assembly
Walk to School Month is perhaps one of the most important months to raise awareness about the benefits of walking to school. We spoke about the advantages of walking. We also looked at ways to motivate us to walk to school, such as using our Travel Tracker and the WOW trophy. Our Year 6 JTAs spoke about their role too. The Year 2 children performed a lovely poem linked to walk to school week. We looked at the events coming up, such as Happy Shoes Day and Walk to School week.
