Yellow Candle Ceremony
In Years 5 and 6 the children learnt about the significance of Yom Hashoach.
We held a small ceremony for Years 5 and 6 where each child was given a yellow candle to light. Each candle was provided with the name of an individual who died during the Holocaust. This was part of the Yellow Candle Project which allows as many individuals as possible to be remembered and gave our children the opportunity to take part in a very special act of remembrance.
