Year 5 had an amazing day at Wembley Stadium taking part in the Etgar challenge, meeting with around 1000 children from Jewish schools across the UK including a school from Israel and taking part in various quizzes and games. They had all prepared really well and were able to complete the quizzes and other activities, including writing a rap, writing a letter from Moshe to his adoptive Egyptian mother and designing a graphic map of Israel with enthusiasm and skill. We are very proud to have won a Bronze medal for our efforts! As part of the day, children sang and danced with their peers from other schools and they were addressed by Israel's ambassador to the UK as well as by Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis. It was a truly unforgettable day and we are very proud of the way they represented Etz Chaim.
