Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in a TFL travel workshop. The children were met by a community support officer in Edgware, hopped onto their own double decker bus and taught them about bus safety. There were 12 adults involved in teaching the children how to travel safe. The most important messages they picked up were:
1. Never place your phone and travel card together.
2. Let the bus driver know if you forgot your travel card.
3. Look at know what is going on, but don’t stare.
4. Travel with water.
5. Stand away from the side of the road.
6. Read the bus stop posts.
7. Who to report too if there is a problem.
The Year 6 team were super impressed at the children's behaviour and listening, it was a brilliant trip!
