Year 5 and 6's Author Visit - Ewa Jozefkowicz
We were delighted to host children’s author Ewa Jozefkowicz, the author of two children’s books, The Mystery of the Colour Thief, which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2019, and Girl 38.
Year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to listen to how books are published, what goes into finding a publisher and what is needed when sending a book off for publishing.
Ewa discussed introductions and hooks into books and why they are needed. The children wrote their own first chapter on anything they wanted! It was a brilliant session.
After school children were able to buy signed copies of Ewa’s books.
