Yom Haatzmaut

The children had a magnificent Israel day, getting on a virtual airplane and 'visiting' a range of cities in Israel, including Jerusalem, Haifa and Tel Aviv, where they made crafts and played games to learn more about their city. It was lovely to see the older and younger children working together to help each other with each activity, and they certainly learned a great deal about the various cities. Special thanks go to our shinshin, Shachar, for planning the activities with such great care! We all enjoyed Israeli food for lunch and ended the day with a flag parade, singing Od Yavo Shalom Aleinu together as a school.
