Etz Chaim Jewish Primary School

Our pupils enjoyed a week of rich, hands-on learning as we celebrated Sukkot together. Classes visited local sukkahs, shook the Arba Minim, and took part in joyful Hallel each day. Our children learned and recited the relevant brachot for the Chag with confidence, and families in Year 5 & 6 joined us for our Seed parent–child learning event.

 

A highlight of the week was our much-loved Model Sukkah Competition, where pupils created imaginative Sukkot at home and proudly shared them in school. Across every year group, teachers wove meaningful cross-curricular links into the festival, helping pupils deepen their understanding of Sukkot in creative and engaging ways.
