Library Monitors

Each term we hold elections for new Library Monitors. This is an important role, which involves helping to run the main library, supervising class libraries, and promoting reading throughout the school. Monitors in upper KS2 are asked to read with younger years, and all monitors choose books to promote during school assemblies.

Those who want to be monitors must write an official manifesto which is shared with their class. Each class votes for their preferred monitor in a real election with ballot paper and a ballot box!
