Polling May 2015

In the first two weeks of May, the children learnt about the elections and what it means to be elected to do something.  The children were provided with the opportunity to write a manifesto for being a library monitor.  They then performed their manifesto in class and they were displayed for their peers to see.  The children then went with their ballot papers to cast two votes for who would be the best person for the role from each class.  The children have learnt that voting is private and they do not discuss who they voted for.  They also learnt that sometimes they will enter something but may not be elected and that is ok because their is always next time.
